Power rankings are not standings. Standings tell you what happened. Power rankings attempt — with only partial success, per the model's own confidence interval — to tell you what is actually true. The methodology below weighs record (30%), points scored (25%), points allowed (15%), scoring trend over the last three weeks (20%), and upcoming strength of schedule (10%). The result is a ranking that agrees with the standings in some places and argues with them in others.

RkTeamPrevMvmtRecAnalyst Take
Nguyenning1—4-2Boring, efficient, and still the best record-plus-points combo in the league.
Bass To Mouth5▲33-3Leads the league in scoring trend over the last three weeks. Record hasn't caught up yet.
Javaris Jamarr Javarison-Lamar2▼14-2Stephen says he's the favorite. The model says top three. Split the difference.
Rashee-d For Speed3▼14-2Worst output of the season in Week 6 costs the Commissioner a spot.
The McGriddle Stack4▼14-2Quietly 4-2 with nobody talking about it. The model noticed anyway.
Dart Side of The Beer Mile8▲23-3Blowout win over the Commissioner is the best single result of the week.
Chasing Last Place7—3-3Still chasing. Still hasn't caught it. The irony remains undefeated.
All Gas No Drakes6▼24-2Two straight losses and a league-leading shotgun count, but the record is still a game over .500. The dynasty is sweating, not sinking.
Myers Diggs Type GFYS9—3-3Dead even in points for and against. The definition of a coin flip.
Dakstreets Back, Alright!10—2-4Second-worst points-against mark in the league. The defense is the problem.
Achane Reaction12▲11-5A win is a win, even at the bottom. Tony immediately started shopping.
Sacrificial Lamb11▼11-5League-worst scoring differential. The name fits better every week.
